Fiesta RS Project - *29.9.06* - f**k IT, I GIVE UP!!!
to cut a long story short
basically needs injectors (300ish) live mapping session (600ish) t34 turbo (680) sort the inlet probelm out, sort the actuator bracket out. MOT, tax.
id never be able to sell it whole for the 7-8k id want, so id have to break it up. so i dont see a point in spending another 1500+ to only break it anyway

Ho hum
Well done for getting straight onto it though, otherwise it would've sat there for ages with you making excuses for not taking things off it. Here's hoping it all sells fast

right, well the projects back on
just not a zetec turbo anymore, will go back to a standard 1.6cvh engine.
as many of you know, i bought a whole FRST so i could put the engine / interior and everything i needed into mine. and here it was.
and this is the engine out
one weekends work and the car was ready for the scrappy
most of all the bits i bought for the ZT conversion, i sold (most at profit) on ebay, so this week and last have been buying parts from ford again
god they love me
new headgasket
sump gasket
rocker gasket
all inlet manifold gaskets
exhaust manifold gasket
cambelt
fuel filter
oil filter
handbrake cable
accelerator cable
clutch cable
spark plugs
ignition leads

washer bottle tank
gearbox mounts
engine mount
fan swith
temp sender
oil pressure sender
an easy way to sepnd over £350
HOPEFULLY, will be at fitp

been seeing mr powdercoater man again
ive decided for a black / white affair in the engine bay
the black things were matt black, and ive think ive made a mistake by choosing matt instead of gloss
but oh well
not like im keeping it
ive had the rocker cover, charge carrier, bonnet stay, suspension tops, coil pack bracket, engine hoist brackets
and im taking my gti wheels on tuesday for coating in black or white, not sure yet

**UPDATE 11/5/06**
not much i can say really
but it 100% wont be at fiesta in the park this year.
bought the car in december 2002, been to fitp 2003, 2004, 2005 all WITHOUT my car, and ill be without it in 2006 aswell
worked on the car ALL day saturday, sunday didnt do anything as it pissed down all day, worked on it after work till dark on monday, tuesday and yesterday. and its 95% done, but will be impossible to get mot'd taxed and insured now
problems being, the gearlinkage / selectors wont fit for some reason
driveshaft got stuck in the hub and fooked the bearing trying to get it out
done LOTS to it tho, taken it from a bare shell, to nearly being able to drive it again, after over 2 years
i cant wait
will upload all the pics tonight when i get home

**UPDATE 22-7-06 **
well, ive not update this for ages, so i thought ive give it one.
got the engine in and working, got the interior in, got the escort gti rims done in gunmetal grey, removed the mirror effect windows, and replaced them with standard frst items
and it was looking like this
then the t2 turbo decided it wanted to leak
so its been pretty much not touched since then. piece of s**t car
ive been saving money to get a t3 turbo, and new exhaust and all the bits needed to do a t3 conversion.
so this morning i took the turbo off (with the rad and intercooler still in) took me 30 mins :d which i was well happy about
so then took my old exhaust off. i hate taking exhausts off, there so fecking awkward, this took me 3 times longer than the turbo did
got my new t3 downpipe last week from mikee (old exhaust on left, new on right)
danny @ RA Desings is full rebuilding my turbo with new everything as we speak, and should be with me some time in the week. so holefully will be on next weekend
fingers crossed, again
