Fiesta RS Project - *29.9.06* - f**k IT, I GIVE UP!!!
oh poo mate, how old is your oil return/oil feed bolt + washers/breathers?
this is what i was told to re-new and i am taking every step ian, at the end of the day its 16 years old. i did get a little s**t out of my oil return i must say so im hoping mine is finally down to the oil return- so hopefully i never needed this new turbo unit
.
leave it a few days and think about it. also send it back to them once again!

what about the other breather on the top right of the rocker cover (crank i think)?
also have you renewed the oil feed banjo bolt? this was mentioned by turbo technics as well as it may have a small crack in it.

no ive not checked that pipe, but the engine was running mint when i had it in the black car, and its done 0 miles since then.
oil feed banjo bolt? is that the one on the turbo, or the bot on the feedpipe? if its the one on the turbo, then its fine, and it was taken from another turbo to use on this. and the oil feed bolt is new aswell

look at picture A its the breather that comes from the rocker to the back of the engine, give it a clean and clean where the pipe connects to the back of the engine.
yeah the bolt that bolts into the turbo, has a hole drilled through the top to let oil out.

Oh maaaaaaaaaan, what is going on? What a ballache! You probably deserve a prize for trying for so long, but this is getting silly now! If Danny truly stripped and rebuilt it all again, this must be a problem with the car/engine as opposed to the turbo itself. What has he said? Talk it through with him, get suggestions, and follow them. If you're certain the oil return pipe is clear (should be if Danny rebuilt the turbo with the feed pipe) and the oil return hose is clear, plus there's nothing obstructing the return at the sump, and ALL breather hoses have been removed and thoroughly cleared out..things should be ok. He should've seen any irregularities when he stripped and rebuilt it all, so I imagine it's something wrong with your installation.
Know what you mean though...you do end up banging your head against a brick wall with this kind of stuff. Taking a week or whatever renews your enthusiasm a bit, but you get more and more reluctant to get the tools out!

Don't be silly - I'm using "installation" in the context of the physical existance of the engine and all attached parts in your engine bay, not your personal skills when it came to fitting it all! It "must" be a problem with parts in the engine bay as opposed to the turbo itself has been rebuilt. I use inverted commas because you'd hope the turbo could be trusted, but I haven't used the supplier you're using before.

yup. genuine frst
ive been asked by danny to do a leakdown test on the car, basically a compression test as far as i can see.
so im going to do a dry compression test to see what the bores are
and then a wet test (pour oil down the spark plug holes) and see what they are then.
fingers crossed, again
