The silver windows have left the building!
:D:D Looks 5,000,000 times better!
What's with the 50 profile tyres?
Is it alright on full lock? Since I fitted your FRST rack I'm getting some scrubbing on full lock now, which is odd
So I think you may have issues with yours on 50 profile tyres dude
Engine bay looks quality...apart from the brake fluid reservoir!
Lovely fresh paint, nice header tank etc, it lets the side down! I've just taken mine off, looks brand new IIRC, if you want it to finish it all off?
Looks uber in there apart from that

yeah i dont like the profile on the tyres one bit, but the 4 tyres that were on them were all illegal
and these tyres only cost me a tenner each
so im considering buying another set of gti rims with decent tyres, and maybe either swapping the tryes over, or just doing another set of wheels in white
as for the brake res, i agree, it looks shoddy as fook, but it was just something that was swapped over in the rush to get it on the road before fitp, so id happily take the res off you if you wouldnt mind dude
very kind of you
cheers rich and adz

cheers. pm sent
also picked up my ZS rear beam and discs from ade last weekend
dropped it off at the powder coaters on my way home and collected it all nicely done on friday
not sure whether or not ill be fitting it or not tho
also did the obligatory trip to fords to buy new bolts etc
due to the fact i spent about £100 on getting ALL new bits for the mk3 rear beam, and i cant sell it, and the turbo swap has cost me more than i expected, so not sure whether to fit this, if all im going to do it sell the car
i might just keep it for now and see what happens

As I've asked in another thread..if you're going to TOTB should I just take it along to that? Can swap phone numbers and hand it over on the day

rawli, yeah, should look good underneath
thinking about getting the bit done between the front section and the back box now, the "z" shaped bit, as its a bit battered from people hitting it with a hammer to seperate it

well, finished at dinner time this afternoon, so seeing as it wasnt too hot, i got stuck into the fiesta agin
my aim, was to fit the t3 turbo with out removing the radiator, i got the turbo in there easy enough, and only dented a few fins, but the problems started when i tried to bolt the downpipe to the elbow
i tried for a good hour, maybe even 2, and i just couldnt get the bolts throught the flange enough to get a nut on
i tried clamps, tried everything
i then suddenly remember that when i had the turbo reconditioned, i did ask for new downpipe nuts, and oh, guess what
compared them to the t2 turbo i had, and as you can see, they are miles too short, so all this agro for nothing.
so off i went to some places to see if i could find some longer studs, and typically, nothing i could find. so i went and got 2 bolts instead, so its bolted throught the top of the housing and then throught the flange instead of a stud thats in the elbow
but as you can see, i had to remove the radiator to get to the bolt into the side nearest the radiator, so ive lost all my new coolant, but hey, that can be replaced easy enough i guess.
so the conversions nearly done
i just neeed to get a coupl emore bits, move the rad forward, and its ready to be started again
all i need now is the ERST return hose & actuator to wastage gate arm

ianFRST :thanks to garyburn for that
Read that as "garybum"
All sorts of people will sell actuator rods; Honeywell, Turbo Technics, Ian Howell could probably help, MSD are only a short walk away from an actuator supplier, who could supply one for you I'm sure.
