That's what I'm doing my friend. Really needs an oil change. Brakes changed and fluid needs bleeding. Plus new cooling liquid. Not much really.
Needs a new rocker cover gasket aswell. I've got all the bits needed, just need to fit them.
Rear brakes shoes need looking at aswell I suspect. What are the tools needed to remove bits to get to the brake shoes?

Re: Ford Fiesta Mk3.5' Projekt OEM+: Passed - MOT
the bearing bolt to keep the hub/drum on is either a 30 or 32,i believe the smaller one, think its the fronts that are 32
thats all you need unless the drum is stiff on, usually is if its been a while or the shoes are new, if so, use a hammer/mallet, and two flat blade screwdrivers, mdeium sized ones to praise it off, hammer and pull kidna routine
the clips holding the shoes in place, you can use a pair of long nose pliers and a small hammer and flat blade screw driver to knock them off, and pliers to get them back on
the hand brake cable i find the hardest, use the pliers and it will go in int he end, i pull and hold the spring back then try and wiggle the cable into the lever on the shoe, you will see what i mean
thats about it really, first few gos is hard, but once your used to them its easy, problem is, they tend to change designs on various cars, like a citreon will have complretly different styles
i trust you know what your doing with the service?
yearly tends to involve, the air filter, oil and filter, and rocker gasket, anything after a year do the plugs, fuel filter and coolant

Re: Ford Fiesta Mk3.5' Projekt OEM+: Passed - MOT
dont need to worrk about the hub not on the front to do the brakes, just a 17mm socket in most cases with a short extention, or a deep socket
with the rear brake, i always have some wheel breaing grease to hand aswell, and i repack the bearings while off.
you may find the rear brake cyclinders could be leaking or stiff, i would check them that there ok before bleeding the brakes incase you need to change them.
tbh, if it was me for what they cost i would just change them while the drums etc are all off anyway

Another thing to note is one of the nuts that holds the drum on to the hub is left hand threaded, think its the drivers side, so when you think your trying to undo it you are actually tightening it up. Sure someone will confirm which side it is.
Yeah id do the cylinders aswell while you got them off. also as said check the bearings and regrease as required. Also clean the inside of the drum with some 80 grit sandpaper to get all the old crap out

I'll get to it at some point.
Fanny is currently in Winter Mode, slammed on the Wellers at the moment. Took all the stickers off aswell. All ruined by the snow anyway.

surely in winter mode it would be raised up so it can have better traction on the snow and ice?

Tried our best to get the rear suspension off, but one of the bolts is very worn and can't get it off. So buying new bolts then getting it off by any means necessary. I know a bloke that can grind it off.
God, I am slacking abit aren't I?... And one of my New Years resolution was to finish the Fiesta. Pttt AHAHAHA

we started off with a 6 sided socket, was already a bit rounded off as we started, than couldnt find anywhere open so we had to make do with a cheapy stud extractor which was as usefall as a kick in the balls.
