Slooooow
I'm finding at times this site can run incredibly slow, but it only seems to be when i'm at home.
Anyone else noticed anything and happen to be on NTL?
I'm talking minute long page loads and god help you if you edit a post

I'm a Telewest user as well and sometimes this site is criminally slow. But I only find it on here so don't think it's to do with Telewest.
Those that can, do; and those that can't, talk about it.

Apparantly there's something wrong with NTLs routing to Telehouse (where the ft server is).
I used to have NTL where I worked and it was really bad, yet fine at home.

Yes! And got a fix...

Advanced answer is that there are a load of transparent proxies that NTL use to route traffic. Avoid this problem by setting a proxy server:
List here:

Choose a proxy that is close to your location and set it. Restart your browser and try again. I'm in Orpington (nr Bromley) and use the Guildford proxy 1, and the web in general seems a hell of a lot quicker.
Just FYI the port number is 8080.
Let me know if that works...
Cheers,
Nick

I find it slow at home and at work, get lots of request timed out if I ping http://www.fiestaturbo.com.
Also if you do a tracert all the hops have low pings until it gets to titaninternet.co.uk's router then they shoot up.
