Take plenty of pics of the process. Damn, wish i had garage space so i could have a car off the road to work on slowly as a project.

I do think im going to have to get another mk3 as next car, was getting tempted towards something bigger like a civic coupe. But with fiestas theyre just so much like toys that you never get bored of.

The pic I have which I cant load up :x is a close up on the headlights and the top front indicator panel and the corner of bonnet don't line up with headlights and they stick to far back plus the indicator doesn't line up with the headlight shape but its not a major problem if your not worried about it being lined up perfect.

Have you found some headlights already?

frstlad :right, ive bin looking about, and them nice looking lights on the german fez dont look standard, looks like he has painted part of it, as you can see in the pics below, so i might do that [ERRR] it does look good, but lets see hey, anyone good at photoshop on ere?

http://www.fiestaturbo.com/phpBB/galler ... 3_lights_2

http://www.fiestaturbo.com/phpBB/galler ... k_lights_3

The lights on the german car might be the GTI model .. or .. the 'aftermarket' black chrome angel eye types.. (see ebay.de for instance.. try looking "6n2 scheinwerfer")

the type is the 6n2 1999-2001 model
http://cgi.ebay.de/FK-Angel-Eyes-Schein ... dZViewItem

here a pic of the light itself
see and compare

Image

it looks VERY cool .. and i guess that it doesn't matter if you have a genuine Vdub headleight or an aftermarket one.. fixing it should be the samen.

I've also read something about flipping the lights on here.. but i guess that has to do with LHD and RHD cars.. so not upside down flipping.. but flipping the image the headlight projects.. left and right.. (this can't be done btw)
