when posting pics they get cut off because of the righthand side bar where the username goes etc etc

My monitor won't go above 800x600 so I'm doomed never to be able to see big pics properly on FT!

Bummer, hadn't noticed, this doesn't happen with the attachment option though..............

Need to make it stretch the forum with big pics, But people shouldn't really be posting images bigger than say 1024x which should fit on my 1280 resolution just about anyway!

There's a simple solution to this problem.
In phpBB3 you can set limits in the admin panel so that only pictures less than say 640px wide can be posted to the forum directly. Everything else would have to be resized or posted as a link.
