love the door handle, but why not on the passenger door?

Interior's gonna look sweet, you lucky fudger! :lol: :wink:

cheers paul the interior will be excellent yer when i can get it in!!! really need the electrics done, and my mate is being a git about doing it!!! so if anyone ie project or someone can help me out on how to wire up all the stuff like:-

cig lighter
all heater controls
fogs
rear heated screen
and do i use the mk/5 ind stalks &wires???
gonna have to extend the window wires too :rolleyes:

All that would be really helpful!!!!!!

and paul as for the other door :lol: i had it broken into ages ago and i decided to go for the safest solution!!! :lol: bit OTT i know but hey who cares!!! i gave the other handle to my mate helping do my car to put on his mk1 golf :wink: :D

intereting door handle, i take it its going to be colour coded??? it will look different, but thought you may have used something a bit more flush?

a mate had i special rivet nut thingy so used that and just threaded the bolts in :wink: :P

ok update time been busy removed the dash and attempted to rewire it got some done:-

cig lighter
boot pop
windows
fogs and clock
and some of the heater but it got a bit confusing so i need help!!!!
see my post in the generla forum if anyone can help!




but i put the mk5 roof lining in today looks good will need a slight trim by the rear windows but apart frm that fits well.....

sorry for the pics dust was floating around and ruined them a bit ...

getting there no the black really looks good in the flesh getting the doors and bits apinted soon so will have loads to do!!!!! :wink:

as soon as someone helps me too i will fit the rest of my interior!!!!! :D

the interior is starting to look quite dapper mate,

Theres something real cosy about having a black (or dark) roof lining in a car.

as for beating you to the handles :P :wink: they been waiting to go on for over 6 months its been planned for ages just waiting for the right time :D ....

as ghost said the lining is not std :wink: :P

i considered doing the light and sunroof black but against that now, i think there would be too much black, then this way the grey breaks up all the black if you get me???

just a bit annoyed as my vr6 frnt suspension is fcuked for the 2nd time so i now gotta go to nottingham to the company to get my third set :x so means i cant work on the rs next week :x ruddy companies :cry:

been sorted now the dampers were noisy and there was a nut fitted wrong so they replaed the suspension for me for a new set anyway... and these are fine so should be all ok now..... and its lower :wink: :P


and the RS will resume work next week :D with the dreaded wiring i think i have all the info now.....

and also i think i have both side skirts for it so watch this space :D
