been a bit busy today got the doors to shut properly and had to reallt fiddle to get the handle in the drivers to fit but we got there!!!
it is not a simple conversion we had to modify the kit itself!!!!
anyway got that done got the boot to finally shut!!!!
the driver window is in but just gotta keep the window down just for a bit to check the handle is perfect other wise i'd have to break a window to get in the car
....
got a few other little bits done the things you totally forget about like the horn back in and wired the window wipers up just the fiddly bits really, just need a visit to a scrappy to get a few more bits here and there and some clips,
had a moan at jamie too as i want my skirts and that painted they just sitting in the corner begging to go on
anyway the pics...............
thats all folks

*sweet*
and talking about the fiddly bits.. well .. those are the tricky parts .. you think... it's just minutes to put them on .. and after fitting .. it's 2 hours later

Looking good Adam
You gonna be painting the dash black to match the door cards? also, really think you should've gone for a black carpet
Can't wait to see the finished results

Yep - pretty much! Most FRST shells are in need of a clean up nowadays especially if you want more power. Alot of people use this time to customise the bodywork or merely update it so that's why I guess you're seeing so many now.
Bit of a cult market really

All show and no go!
When do you think the project will be finished?

the engine will be made to my spec by using a number of people and contacts and a well known engine builder... and we will be looking at a very good power figure

Coming together now, there will be some damn good mk3's about soon. Love the facelift Audi door handle mate, they look and feel quality
Looks like your mate did a good job of fitting it too, paint looks nice and smooth!
What are your engine plans btw?
