been a bit busy today got the doors to shut properly and had to reallt fiddle to get the handle in the drivers to fit but we got there!!! :D it is not a simple conversion we had to modify the kit itself!!!!

anyway got that done got the boot to finally shut!!!! :D
the driver window is in but just gotta keep the window down just for a bit to check the handle is perfect other wise i'd have to break a window to get in the car  ....

got a few other little bits done the things you totally forget about like the horn back in and wired the window wipers up just the fiddly bits really, just need a visit to a scrappy to get a few more bits here and there and some clips,
had a moan at jamie too as i want my skirts and that painted they just sitting in the corner begging to go on

anyway the pics...............

*sweet*

and talking about the fiddly bits.. well .. those are the tricky parts .. you think... it's just minutes to put them on .. and after fitting .. it's 2 hours later

Looking good Adam

You gonna be painting the dash black to match the door cards? also, really think you should've gone for a black carpet

Can't wait to see the finished results

cheers paul the dash is actually black and is deep black but its so damn dusty looks grey i dont see the point in cleaning it till all the holes are blocked ie the wing mirror holes and stuff as the dust gets everywhere!!! so when i got the restr of the bits on i'll clean it all up  as for the carpet wanted to keep it RS one i think it would be a bit too much black and make the car look dull inside i can always change my mind  i'd only have to remove the 2 seats and the centre console to change it again :aviator:

should get things moving on soon if my mate pulls his finger out  :P

Yep - pretty much! Most FRST shells are in need of a clean up nowadays especially if you want more power. Alot of people use this time to customise the bodywork or merely update it so that's why I guess you're seeing so many now.

Bit of a cult market really :)

Cheers,

 the vr6 is casue i always wanted one i'm living the dream  its a great car fast reliable but its not got that sproting edge the rs has...

therefore it will be for sale in 12 months time and be replaced by a escort cossie :aviator: ....

the mk5 cards are just frm a mk5 and i just got them retrimmed or rather bought them like this and just fiddled with them a bit... but they cost me a bit but i bought the whole interior so cant really put a price on 1 thing can you

Coming together now, there will be some damn good mk3's about soon. Love the facelift Audi door handle mate, they look and feel quality 8)

Looks like your mate did a good job of fitting it too, paint looks nice and smooth!

What are your engine plans btw?
