I thought best to put this in the correct place, albeit probably not the most viewed...

But, does anyone else feel that this site (forum) is getting increasingly 'hostile' at the moment? It may just be me, being still fairly new in the grand scheme of things, but I'm finding it increasingly difficult to post comments, questions and suggestions without feeling that someone on the forum will make some kind of derogatory (?) remark as a response...

I hope it is just me... :-?

There are a few people who have taken offence to other peoples comments lately but, usually gets sorted out in the same tread.

Also seems to alot of people reporting crimes and accidents which will always get people's boold up abit, as people on here can relate.

It's also a way of letting off steam, we are passionate people in the FT family :lol:

Nothing to worry about.

Just my veiw.

Not so much him in particular, as he's one of the people I've noticed recently that is posting a lot of good advice and comments, but the general attitude ATM regarding people commenting on other's comments / advice / suggestions, etc, etc.

I agree to be honest, what EVER you post, someone has something arsey to say about it. - Whatever the content.

I'm getting sick of it, and to be honest, cant see myself using the board much anymore. Think you'll find most of the original old skool posters only come to look, and barely post.

The whole sites been taken over by muppets who post purely in off topic or random. - total fools with IQ's of <50 who think trolling is fun.

the site's not as friendly as it used to be

we all used to meet up randomly and have a laugh - like andi and lexy's parties

but now there seems to be an increasing number of chives and tarts posting s**t and giving people abuse

That's a nice bunch of chives Alex

In real life when we say things, someone always have a different opinion, which causes conflict on one level or another, be it a minor difference in opinions or a full blown argument. They usually get resolved, and they do on here in general I think. Sharp mouths cause arguments, some could do better at blunting their tongues a bit, but that's the way it goes
