Money holds me back on getting an older car :( all tho i have told the other half he can have a mk1 escort in bright orange when he gets some money :)

I like the look of older fords... dont like the cost of running and fixing it when it goes wrong :(

I don't understand this really - you can buy an older car for much less than a new-ish one. This offsets the cost of any repairs...
