The RS is coming along nicely. i wish i had some garage space to make mine mint again.

How did you learn about engine building ? - - i would really like to learn that kind of mechanical stuff so i aint got to pay others ££££ to do it for me.

I'd imagine the centres need spraying rather than coating! So pleased they're not the blue that haunts me nightly

**update** december 2nd

sadly ive not touched the car for ages :( spent soooo much time gettin rid of that clio it was unbelievable.

also spent the post 3 weeks clearing out the garage so that the car can get tucked away for the cold winter :D so hopefully, it shall be nicely away this weekend.

i totally 100% recommend this car cover. £40 from argos, its the best ive ever had. breathable, and keeps the car totally dry. even keeps the car damp free inside :o
Image

went to see mr ford today, 1st time in months  2 new front wheel bearings, 16 new wheel nuts, 16 new wheels studs, new bodykit rivets, and rear beam bolts. all that came to over £100 again
Image

the old rear beam will be going back on tomorrow, so that we can pull the car into the garage :D then lift the car up, and lower it onto the engine :D

the one major thing, the engine is now ready to go in, may even go in this weekend  but thats only because i have no where else to put the foooker

:D the car cover rocks. seriously recommend that one if any1 needs one. the car stays perfectly dry 24 / 7.

its a breathable one, that actually works. even when it had an inch of snow on it, the car stayed dry :D

well what a knackering day :( if any1 has ever removed a rear beam on there own, just think how hard it is to put one back on your own. took me absolutely ages :( my back kills

had to put the old beam on so the rear could roll back into the garage

oooh, 1st time the wheels have seen the car in ages :D crap pic i know, but the black wheels look really good on the car :D
Image

dragged the fooooooker into the garage

 i didnt remove it. it did my head in to. so i just cleaned all the crap off, and painted over the top of the stuff

my mate adviced me not to remove that, as it also serves as sound deadening, and when he did that on one of his previous cars, he regretted it badly
