Did'nt it fail due to the rings not being gapped correctly though? Not because of the inlet manifold???

Looking good chap.

So i presume you can load that file into a machine and it will follow the dims to make the plates?

When this is done you must nearly be there then? Still way ahead of me, now im back at work I dont hardly have any time to get to the engine  . Only things really for me left to do is fit the inlet, get an intercooler and a chip from MSD. oh and fit it in the car lol.

ha ha lol, im going to use the 195 chip lol, may get it reflashed if i need too!?

well you offset the lines by the radius of the tool you want to use unill the size is the same as the material your cutting then basiclly a few presses of the mouse and its all set, find a datum point and off she goes! :)

had another little play trying to be cleaver earlyer and came up with a 3d (ish! wish i knew the real way to do it :P ) one

might try and figure out how solidworks operates soon! :)

That machine sounds good mate.

Its probably a good idea to get a proper chip done as a zetec turbo is quite a bit different to a 1600 cvh turbo. Im going to get mine from MSD.

I ve bought some sheet ally now as well just so i can knock out a plate to fit the frst tb, hope to make it this weekend.

Do you have any updates for us? :P :bonkers:

Gareth.
