Might be popping a few questions your way when im setting mine up on megasquirt... coil on plug sounds a good idea :D

Ye the most expensive part of my build but it was the only way to retain the standard diesel front bumpers and that was my whole plan from the start so hopefully it will be worth it....

that engine bay is looking sweet mate nice and sutble

i thought mine was subtle but that takes it futher, i love the sutble 'TURBO' on the plenum too :Q

i used a mk4 escort hose with 2 bodges on one to the header tank and one to attach a mondeo water pump bit on lol only pic on my photo bucket account is Image

can try and get a few more tomorrow or wednesday if you want?

been doin a few bits to focus but main reason is time buddy i got a temp job but im doing 12 hour shifts so aint been able to take my inlet to the welders :( ......... also toying with the idea of a nicer turbo or management..??? if anyone sees a cheep msv3 . :D

welding looks good mate, welding old aluminium, even after extensive cleaning you always seem to end up chasing dirt :rolleyes:

lol running maybe posible but with only an mot on it and being skint i doubt it will be insured and taxed lol besides wanna put my v6 brakes on it before it goes anywhere lol and needs the turbo bearimngs changing too lol but shgould start and drive this week once i sort out fuel lines :)

jony........ no! lol i aint hand painting detail on it i cant be arsed lol its getting sprayed and 1000 gritted off mabe laqured if itlucy lol :)

cheers dude :D

well not much room for my intercooler pipe between the TB and brake reservour so having one cut and welded and while i was at the welders workshop kinda ordered a fuel cell and payed a deposit! ....cheers for the contact rich! :P

internal swirlpot, sumped, mostly foam filled execpt where the modded xr2i float goes an-6 return and breather and an-10 feed on 5"feet... maybe more but i forgot! lol

so in 2 weeks time ill have it i hope :)

may not be just a road car yet? its going in the boot mate, well i took the tank off last week as i know i need a new pump and i couldnt get the clip off the old tank so cut it off so thought i may as well do it properly! braided hoses throughout!

then in future (neer) all i need for big power is management! pistons/rods and big turbo! :)

Yup the shed is back on the road now, just going to use it as it is now, if i can one maybe 2 more mot's out of the car i will be happy then it will be stripped and scrapped. My next project after this, will hopefully be a mk3 escort :Q when the mk2 fez is on its last legs i will start seriously looking for a decent escort.
