Zetec-S ZVH so far - A few Pics

Postby standarduk on Mon Nov 05, 2012 10:43 am

So I have been going on about doing this for a while, finally started it:

We had to make an engine mount, and are finalising the wiriring (half done) and trying to work out where to put the damn intercooler. Prob going to run 0FAM management too so I can run bigger injectors. 360bhp ATM

big thanks to Will at Sceats Performance. (http://www.sceatsperformance.tk)

Yeah the enine mount has more below that you cant see, also making up a dog leg sort of affair that will use the original front chassis mounting point and bolt to front of engine so dont worry ;-)

Yeah I've got a fmic, thats what I need to mount

Its built by Grove garage, Big valve and ported and polished heard, t34 turbo, all forged internals....etc

Intercooler in today, tight squeeze but it's done, also had to re locate battery to boot lol. Just a few more wires to sort and then cossie fuel pump and powerflex bushes to fit. Just need to find the zetec-s rev counter feed and splice into the zvh loom along with a few other bits.

OK, SLOWLY GETTING THERE!!!!. Engine and driveshaft mounts are finished. Used gearbox from a 1.8 courier TD. but....I am struggling with wiring - can anyone assist?

"Bascically I have the entire engine loom fron the ZVH and need to know the best way to splice it in to the car wiring, someone has suggested the below:

when i put a rs turbo engine in my zetec s i used a fiesta mk5 td gearbox (starter motor is in the correct place for the cvh) i used a escort mk6 long one piece drive shaft (zetec), 1.4 escort mk5/6 power steering pump, alternator and crank pully and a t3 turbo, i made up a mount and welded it to thr engine bay and just used the cvh mount, (simple) and just made up a loom so the zs loom was not cut! good luck and feel free to pm me if you need any help... "

Anyone got any help they can offer?

OK So after over a year, Its finally (nearly) finished, I managed to work the wiring out, if anyones interested I could write a wiring guide. I used a gearbox from a courier diesel van in the end and got an exhaust made my fast road conversions in ashford. I'M going to be running the boostmonkeys ecu when it turns up and it will run around 350 BHP in the end. Had to make engine and driveshaft mounts. Here are some PICS:
