XR2 wanted in and around the essex area, only wanna spend about £500 odd. must be reasonably clean bodywork as opposed to good mechanicals.

Good luck on finding one of these babes for £500 with sound bodywork. I know there are a few about but just sold one of mine for £90!! and up to press have heard that the new owner is spending £1,000 on bodywork.

They may look clean - but you never know just what is lurking under those lovely little arches when you remove 'em!!!

GOT A 1989 BLACK ONE IT IS SOLID BUT DOES NEED SOME WORK THE ENGINE IS OUT ( I WAS PUTTING MY ZETEC TURBO IN IT ) IT NEEDS A NEW FRONT PANEL AND FRONT WINGS TO TIDY UP AND A COUPLE OF SCABS ON THE DOORS ( HAVE SPARES ) AND REAR QUARTERS I STILL HAVE THE ENGINE FROM IT AND I WANT £150 WITH A BIT OF TIME IT WILL BE A VERY GOOD BASE FOR A MINTER!!
