WTD XR2I SOME ADVICE PLEASE EXPERTS

Hi there
I dont really know loads about cars but iv loved the XR2I from i was young very cool motor anyways my top colours are 1) Moondust Silver, 2) Pacific Blue, 3) Metalic Black (not plane black the silvery black)
Anyways im needing some advice how much do you recon i should pay for one I would prefer it witout any mods so i have something to work on so do you think £500 or less is a good price to pay for one ? Experts please drop me an email on gary@garysdisks.com thanks in advance.

I dont know an Awful lot more, but i would say 500 pounds is a sort of scrubby condition one,
have you seen any about for that price?
XR2i's are coming down in price, but you wont pick up a Zetec (16v) XR2i for 500quid!

Like i said m8 scrubby is fine i want something to work on 
I have seen XR2I's for that price but colours RED, SILVER (NOT MOONDUST), WHITE does the colour make a difference on price ?
Also whats a ZETEC ?

zetec is the type of engine, as in 16 valve/zetec that the later xr2i fiesta come in & found in the mark 3.5 fiesta & later editions.
early xr2i's had a c.v.h type engine in em, also found in the fiesta rs turbo. (albeit internally slightly dirrerent) usually a reliable engine if looked after & can be a little smokey caused by vavle stem oil seals.
if you could up the price to 1000 then you might find what your after i would imagine
but youd have little choice for 500 quid i think
