Wiring My Sub/Amp??

Right ive started to wire my kicker sub kit and im about to take the main power cable for the amp to the back of the boot but i was just wondering what side do you run the cable down? The passenger side or the drivers side?

Ive started doing the passenger side but i carnt feed it through any tips??
