i use a spreader from filler and push it through the top of the seal, then put some gloves on and start pulling it all the way around the window.

alternatively(sp) you could cut the window rubbers with a knife and replace them when you put the new windows in.

push the lip of the rubber on the inside out with a flat blade screw driver, work your way round, when the top and both sides are done you can lift the screen out, same for any window apart from opening rears, bonded, and front door windows

oh and when refitting, put some string in the groove, and sit the bottom of the rubber on the lip, the 2 ends of the string should reall meet in the middle of the top, get amate to put light pressure on the window rubber from out side as you pull the string, in turn foldeing the lip out which will be folding it back over the lip and once all done, make sure its all sealed but pushing the rubber on the inside to make sure its seated right
