will pepperpots fit over xr2i brakes?!?!
hey guys.. just a heads up before i buy some pepperpots into if theyll fit over standard discs....
they are 13's
standard xr2i wheels are 14's...
the car is lowered 60mm but that shouldnt be an issue im told..
standard size discs and no spacers on..(altho running mintex extreme setup.. all the standard size)
will these go on?!?!??!

I would say yes as the early XR2i's came with 13" wheels, but don't hold me to it!

standard xr2i alloys are 13" on the cvh
so yes, pepperpots will fit over the brakes fine

yes, the brakes are the same size throughout the mk3 range

for things like that they are ideal, thought you were going to swap over to them permanently!
you can get nice sticky tyres in 13" as well

koolio.. my mate who is a ford erst purist seriously doubts that theyll go over my brakes n doesnt recall any mk 3 xr that came with 13's... the mk2 had a smaller brake set up he said (mine has 260mm discs)

Mk3 setup is 240mm. If you've upgraded the wheel might not go on.

I thought all mk3's had 240mm discs 
I've got 260mm discs and a 13" wont fit over them

As has been said, the standard MK3 disc size is 240mm and XR2 pepperpots will fit over them. If they are 260mm though (the size I happen to have), you will have no chance in getting any 13" wheels over them - They're pretty close with 14s!

I have standard FRST brakes and my slicks are 13" (RS7's) and they fit on just fine...
