What is a ZVH engine?
Hey people, well basically my question is as above ^ More precisely though, how do you do it, what benefit is there in doing it, and how much will it cost to do it to my 1.3, if theres any point in doing it? The car is going into the garage tomorow to have its problems sorted and get a quote on some bodywork repair. All advice on the ZVH thing much appreciated

It's a CVH head mated to a Zetec bottom end. This requires minor modifications to the Zetec bottom end.
People do this for the extra cc's, the extra strength of the Zetec bottom end and the massive torque.
It can also be cheaper to convert to a ZVH engine if your own CVH bottom end goes.

i suggest you read some books or magazines and aquire some basic mechanical knowledge it all helps
but basically the bottom end is the bottom half of an engine (engine has has a head and block separated by a headgasket)
