This won't suprise anyone....
Can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 600 employees and has the following statistics?
29 have been accused of spouse abuse
7 have been arrested for fraud
19 have been accused of writing bad cheques
117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses
3 have done time for assault
71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit
4 have been arrested on drug-related charges
8 have been arrested for shoplifting
21 are currently defendants in lawsuits
84 have been arrested for drink driving in the last year
Which organisation is this?
It's the 635 members of the House of Commons, the same group that cranks out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line.

Re: This won't suprise anyone....
I was just about to say it sounds like a government organisation
I work in a "non-departmental public body" (basically government, but not officially due to funding laws) and we have a ton of social misfits in here. One guy recently was caught with a camera wrapped in a towel filming young boys in the local swimming pool changing rooms. Was he sacked? nope. He was given "gardening leave" (time off with full pay) for 6 months before being given a payout to leave as it "wouldn't be appropriate" for him to return.
Makes me sick.
However it's a great place to work, you get away with murder (actually you'd probably keep your job or get paid off if you did kill someone

I work for Local Government, should see some of the people they employ. A lot of people very passionate about their jobs, but as with anywhere I guess a lot of people who couldnt care less!
Not heard of anyone filming children here yet though

Yeah it's the same here - some people work their arses off, and this is what keeps the place running. The rest of the dead wood are just in it for the ride.
I love it though, we get 30 days leave, 10.5 days "privilege days" off, flexitime, private healthcare and subsidised sports at the local leisure centre. All at the expense of the taxpayer of course

Similar story here, 24 days holiday per year, subsidised health care, cheap contract phones, discounts in hundreds of shops all over Kent, etc etc. and I love flexi time!! It's fantastic. Also if we have a Dr's appointment or something we don't have to make the time up, which in a lot of private sector organisations you do.
No doubt I'll be a public sector bod for ever

10.5 privilege days...? You sure about that? Sure you don't mean 2.5?

The guy who used to be our team leader at work was a pedo who's now in jail (he left before I started working there) wasn't actually sacked, he was given the opportunity to resign so he could keep his nice, final salary local government pension
It's a cover up!

Oh dear, Pedo's in government. Nice!!!
Plenty of old perverts in government, especially in borough councils. Borough councilors think the sun shines out of there back sides!! Pretty much all ar5eholes.
