Re: thinking of selling up
Being a moo dust one I wouldn't break it, it's got to be worth enough to sell whole being rare as it it!!

Re: thinking of selling up
Another option could be to return in to standard and sell that way, best of both worlds, you get money for the car and then sell off any additional items.
It looks to be in good order and would be a crying shame to dismantle it totally. They are so rare now, especially to find one with original features and more importantly in your case a rare K reg Moondust silver example.
Some days I regret selling mine and others I dont, its weird. But looking at them again recently it does make me think should I get another, lol.
Gareth.

The return to standard, from the above sig pics - back to how Ford intended..............

Re: thinking of selling up
depends what your after for the whole car mate
if it was me, I think id source a normal / standard engine, standard wheels and any other little bits like back lights, then sell the car off looking standard / slightly modded. should do good money like that
then with your engine / box / wheels and any other goodies you remove sell that lot separate
that's what Id possibly do in your situation,

Thanks for the replies guys.
Don't think I would go down the puting it back to standard route as that would be like building a other one. Lol
As a whole I would need about £7k
As breaking it I would see much more.

I would like it to go to someone that will look after it, if you get what I mean.
I don't want to sell it and then find out it was wrapped around a lamp post. It would kill me.
When you build a car you get emotionally attached.lolol

Re: thinking of selling up
Know [ERRR] you mean, would love to have it with the other three, would have to run it past the misses, is the 7 a firm price? Is there any of the original kit with it?
was what mileage has it covered? Any mot or tax?

Good. I can't believe people are still thinking that breaking these cars is the right thing to do? Sure it means a bit more money for you but takes yet another RS off the road. There aren't many left now! Glad its gone to someone in one piece!
