looks like im going to be on steels again for this one

had a phone call this afternoon saying they now have my alloys in...great i thought but then he goes "they have been scratched" i thought dammit! went to have a look anyway and there was one that was quite badly scratched

so after a lot of umming and arring decided to wait for them to re-order some more in.
so [ERRR] have some for the next one

what's the score meeting at LFE at what time? 6.45? im meeting bryce and rich in burton at 6. so a steady run to LFE will take about 30mins give or take. so 6.45 is fine by me. i dont need to stop at J16 for my present

6:45 should be cool, but if I aint there, do wait. I finish work at 5, should be home by 5:30ish, bit of toast, in the car, and it's only about 30 mins drive from notts, Im only about 5/10 mins drive from the M1.

Not long to go no....

I hope someone coming who is a mechanic and knows his way around a Zetec-E engine.... I had to get my dad's RAC cover used today as my car started droning at 2000rpm and then cutting out.

Turned out to be a vacuum hose or something.... we blocked it up and it seems to have cured the problem for now, but, I have no idea where this hose came from and where it should be put back on.

So, I hope someone knows a lot about the engine to help me!

I wouldn't normally have called the RAC, but, we were stuck on the top floor of the Grosvner Shopping centre car park in northampton and I didnt want to drive it incase it was a slipped tooth on the cam belt causing the drone!!!
