Test run video
Here's a tiny vid clip of my car driving, it's only a quick blast in first gear across the vehicle park, its cramped full of big trucks & landrovers and stuff so couldn't go too mental, The car is due its MOT as soon as that's done I'll get footage of it in ALL 6 gears

Hopefully this little clip shows how sweet and civilised the engine sounds and revs...
Tomorrow I'll try and get some footage of me bazzing it about properly with someone videoing from outside the car so you can hear how it sounds in the real world.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=viYKRv4VM3g
And yes I know my airbag light is on

Got to wire the fiesta airbag module to the focus dash still, lazy sod i am!

Hahahaha!
Marra cracks me up! That's more west coast though, they don't say that just here. Did you hear about the dolphin they found at Barrow? They named the bloody thing Marra!!
 What a name!!

Yeah I heard about the poor thing, wildlife experts from all over the gaff went up there to help out but the local "great unwashed" chives got there first and started lobbing bricks it!!
I got some mates from Whitehaven (cellfield nuclear freaks
), workington , cockermouth (that name was created as joke i'm sure
), and barrow-in-furnace so i'm used to the old "marra" and getting my nose bitten if i have a brawl with any of them!

NEW BRAKES!
Hello everyone! Here's how i spent this afternoon, I fitted my nice new ST170 300mm front brakes at last!

I've chucked a couple of pics in to show you all how the "MANJ" is looking now with the new front and rear brakes on. I REALLY love how the new brakes fill the escy 16" rims can't stop looking at them

The brakes on the car are amazing now, the contrast to how they were before is like night and day

I recommend anyone who hasn't upgraded their front brakes yet and has at least 16" rims to do this conversion as it's SO easy and SO effective, especially as all-in it only cost me about £200!!

Just need a bigger spare wheel now D'OH!!

Caliper mounting holes drilled out to 12mm:
F'ing size of that!
Couple of pics of "the MANJ" just to show how the car's looking - needs a clean!

A little pic of my Getrag MT285 6-speed 'Box, OH YEAH!

Got the car booked in for a bit of a tidy- up and a respray in Radiant Red very soon too so It'll look it's best for the coming year
Also a BIG thanks to all the people who answered my advice queries about fitting these brakes, Chumkila, cheers mate.

Nothing like some brakes to fill out the insides of the wheels, they look good, and a decent price too

Do it, DO IT!!
I think the ST front set-up is amazing value for money, yeah people may want 4/6/8! pots for serious track tools but for a really powerful civilised brake set-up perfect for our crazy-arsed roads you really can't go wrong with The ST170 bits.
I only used mintex discs/pads 'cos I'm not really tempted by spending twich as much for some discs with holes in them

pad glazing is more common on the cheap ass pads.
i use mintex all the time and think there great.
get a little fade when i go across brading downs as the end is real steap but apart from that there great, and i got drilled and grooved disc.
will be have some standard when the currernt ones are due to be replaced though im thinking

how thick are the focus disc though btw mate?

heeman10 :jimmyesh :Cheers mate! I'm flattered, or should i say the "manj" is?!MANJ makes me laugh. A nameless teacher at my school had a wife who was SUPER efficient..like...military style efficient, and mega fit and quite tough. She was called Ange...but was a little mannish, so that changed to Mange
Then...since she was so robotic, she was then known as "Mangedroid"
:lol::bonkers:
I'll never see my poor little "Manj" in the same light now
Jayrs: Sorry mate the other hubs are locked in an Iso container (with a load of my other car bits/ junk

no need for spacers like the cossie discs? or do you still need the spacers?

Hi all

The MANJ has been on its first major journey at the weekend, down to kent and I've totally fallen in love with driving it! It seems so revvy and fast after driving my Focus TDCI for the last year!
Just invested in some decent security as you can see in the pic - a nice Clifford Concept G5 650. (After having 2 other RS fiestas stolen by lowlifes I didn't want this one going the same way
 )
Also treated the Car to new tyres all round and now have a big enough spare wheel to fit over my brakes

Just getting a quote from my mate who runs a bodyshop this week for a nice respray in Radiant Red and some tidying here and there.
