i have 10 tattoos and counting , dont regret any of them, although sometimes i think i should had something bigger/better on my arms, but still im happy with what i got.


birthdate is a ok idea if you like that sort of thing, but its a bit over kill in roman numerals imo.
would look weird and out of place, so i say have a good think about.

you can do what i done once, get someone to draw it on and colour it in in felt tip and leave it on for the day, see how you like the look of it etc, but imo, i would advise againt it, its gunna be something you will regret later on i reckon

Did anyone see that thing in the news about the guy that broke into a police trap car, and he had his name and DOB tattoed on his neck? Pretty easy to catch him, dosy fucker!! Must have been in case he forgot or something!

But seriously mate, think long and hard about it, i dont regret any of my tatoos, but the positioning could have been better, as it stopped me from doing other more elaborate ones due to something being in the way

Oh and please dont get a chinese symbol

Best bet is to go into a parlour, and look at the designs in there, pick a few that you really like, and if you cant decide, have something created

I reckon if you get that many roman numerals down your arm it could nearly look like a barcode! But like others said, have a good think first. Cover ups usually look s**t

I've got shooting stars on my hip sort of area, and anyone that says it doesn't hurt is a god damn liar!! I had a hells angel do mine and when he said 'right you're all done.' I burst into tears as it hurt so much

Having said that however, I would like another one to do with Max (my son). We had the bible quote 'every good and perfect gift comes from above' put on his christening stationary, cake etc etc as we thought that summed up what he means to us and is true when it comes to children. So I'd like that somewhere but:
1. it'll have to be small otherwise I won't get to the end of the sentance
2. no idea where to have it done and
3. it will hurt like mad

none of my tattoos really hurt that much, smarted a little but n ot too bad, apart from a rather large black dragon snaking up my back, 4 and a half hours i was in the chair, let me tell you ive never been so pleased to here the words " your all done mate "

M440 if your looking for an area that is not really painful, the top of your arm is the best bet

ive got a tribal pattern covering the top of my arm with a load of shading on it as well. , and dont regret it at all. really want to get it extended but the girlfriend wont let me

i really want more like i say. i didnt think it hurt too much, just a strange sensation. i did start to get painful at the top on my collarbone, but its alright!

Surely if your just walking into a shop and picking one off the wall it defeats the whole point of a tattoo... i'm going next week sometime, when i get a min , to have one on my hand i have completely designed myself and it means alot... You will regret it 100% if its one you walk into a shop - spend 5mins choosing and then sit in the chair...

I have had one of mine designed for over a year but i have left it that long to see if i change my mind... if i havent in a year then i know i am pretty sure to go and get it... i'm in the process of designing another when i have finished it i will leave it a year and then go get it...

Good idea above tho of someone drawing it on you... I have had mine on me in henna which lasted 3 weeks and i still love it...

Not much of a tatto idea, more like advice
