Small run in paint work

Hi ive delocked my passenger door ive done all the prep work sprayed over the required area but I now have a small run.Whats the best way to remove it when its dry

superfine 1500 paper wet and then buff it up with something like farecla unless its a laquer run

I did it tonight with 800 paper and it went away :lol: Ive now blended both old and new paint work together
