If i remember correctly it talks about the rubber strip in the exterior mods section on the left. You should be able to just peel it off carefully
The strips are basically stuck to the bodywork. You basically put the masking tape along the length of
the strip (top & bottom), this will protect the paintwork. Then using the
line break the bond between the strip and the bodywork by pulling the
fishing line along the length of the car, removing the strip.

Finally use white spirit and/or car polish to clean up the area.

Hope this helps
lots of boiling water poured onto them and they peel off as easy as eating pie!

Then just polish behind them - aswell as giving the car a t-cut, as the sun has not got to the area behind the strips so will be a slightly different shade.

i reckon a pneumatic drill or a quick dose of anthrax should 'ave it off no probs

mine took pi$$in' hours to get off and took a layer of paint with it!
that said, the dodgy pinstripe the previous owner put on did even more damage!

mike

A friends of mine cut the stripes and the metal behind them off with a hack saw, and he didn't have to touch the metal up afterwards which I thought was a good idea!!!

Paul

Yeah, I think Ford used the most stickiest double sided tape they could find. It is worth the effort though m8. Best to go and get totally bladdered afterwards.
