RS or RE-shell ??
Ok guys me and a mate set to work on stripping the fiesta out and we came across the dreaded tin worm which brings me on to my next question. Is this repairable?? will get a few more pics up tomorrow. im in a bit of a predicament the question is this.
This car was cheap to buy back which I don't mind as the parts are worth more but the car needs a re-spray an o/s rear quarter panel both sills need doing new boot n/s door and a n/s front wing. The re-spray, panels and welding will cost in the region of £2500. The question is, should I do this just to keep Rs on the logbook or spend £600 on a mint 1.1 and transfer the Rs parts over. Money wise to me a makes sense to re-shell the car on a 1.1 or similar.

im sure you totally understand that reshelling it will do nothing for its value once complete but repairing rust like that just brings misery lol find a nice shell and build up lovely car

Weld it up just finished one that was worse than that but very worth saving
