jets were perfect, maybe too perfect  fueling was fine, no det
just that the nos did not come in progressively enough it seems, my own fault 50% to 100% in 1.5 seconds in forth gear was maybe not progressive enough with the 50shot or maybe the engine died because i was running well over 250bhp which is the std rods limit.
I think its was the progressive issue as the rod gave up in 4th gear litterally as soon as i floored it.
all this aint gona matter anymore as im going steel rods now :)

hi andy

nothing but problem after problem after problem, more expense more expense more expense!
biggest problem of all tho was sourceing the pistons and steel rods and anyhow the guy doing all the machining and fitting the pistons etc has gone holiday till late january. Matt @ M-tech automotive is now helping me out in supplying the engine parts i need etc Knuckles has helped alot and done alot of running around as i dont get any spare time at all monday to friday expecially
wish i just bought christians(apt) bottom end, would have saved ALOT of agro he sold it the day before i contacted him.
so update is, engine looks like this and pic of one of the 2 bent valves  will hopefully have something more positive to post next week

We had to proper Smack that piston out of the bore.

crank is ruined as i thought, the Alternator was another casualty of the wandering rod.

That Rod is proper bent. The sump was full of pieces of the broken piston. Couldnt find any pieces of the bearing shells for that rod :-?
