Same, took 4/5 mins to connect this morning so I probably caught the end of it. Same error, and could get onto rewards4.com

It's been over a week now and I've not had it, has it cleared up for everyone else?

Great stuff, let's hope it stops that way.

Hmmmm.... This is a strange one that I'm trying to get to the bottom off too.

Its an issue with NTL/Virgin cable customers. Quite regularly for a few minutes (maybe 5 - 10) minutes some sites will stop working. I have a few regularly ones I visit, including our servers which are hosted on the same network as the FT server, and some sites in the US that all stop working and will then re-appear.

I've been emailing Virgin and only spoken to numpty's so far, but seem to now have somebody who has a clue so hopefully I might be able to suss this one with them :)

Try visiting the Virgin Media support newsgroups - all British top dogs who know what they're talking about. Incidentally the problems you describe stopped for me last year some time - i had the timeouts too.

Routing issue then. Yay. Problem is that while it's someone else's problem, we don't know who the "someone" is... :x
