Think it would just encourage even more moaning than there already is, users dont even keep to the forums sections we have now so more would just confuse the matter 
We cant even have a videos section so i'd say slim to none for 'Rants'

I think this thread can be used to rant about the lack of a Rant forum 
Jamie - I reckon the sites pretty darn swell at the moment! Very little moaning and cross-posting going on
One of those cool periods (bar the forum malfunctions

Yea to be honest its all good at the moment, I cant say ive noticed any slow downs either?! Maybe I just haven't been posting so much.
