cheers mark first off ill be doing a bracket to sit under it just incase it ever falls off but yes its quite venerable where it is so will need something

I think you can buy socks for them to stop road grime getting in when they are low down, often used when fitted to the Mk1 FRS as they are low down on these too

watch you dont get water sucked up in there!!!

When i had my Xsara vts, the green cotton filter was away down there (as is the stock airbox)....but it had some nylon type cover over it. Very easy to breathe through, but when you threw water at it, it repelled the water. Just a thought mate!

its no lower down than it was before plus its not getting used in the rain

finally the car made it on track at castle combe yesterday was a awesome day and the car never missed a beat,in fact it loved every minute of it torque steer was a big problem but im putting that down to not enough prep on suspension settings or tire pressures. i need a few more track days under my belt to realize the cars true potential,its certainly more capable than i gave it credit for ..theres a few pics about and there will be a video but found this one
