Project Brad... Spy shots...

Smo :Think it's just a taste thing - that a majority of people simply prefer the look of a 3 door over a 5 door. I definitely like the look of a 3 door a lot more than a 5 door.
Saying that, if it's done right, then a 5 door can be just as good as any 3 door, to me. Look at festajon's or phatboy's, they're both awesome looking cars, but it's because they've been done right.
I'm sure Brad's is going to look great from seeing those initial shots
*cough*
keep the pics coming...how sweet do those rims look

i think due to the size of those wheels you'd need the extra size of a 5 door car to make it look right. id think that a 5 door on rs 7's would always look better than a 3 door.

Superal :what extra size? the 3dr and 5dr are exactly the same size except the 5dr has shorter front doors to accomodate two rear doors
5 doors are slightly longer and have the thicker rear pillar. thats why i think the wheels suit them better.

Mental engine - that looks really similar to the Duratec V6 engine, I wonder if Ford just nicked it from Mazda like it did with the Duratec 4 pot!
Good project.
As for your statement about Max Power lads masturbating over Lancer EVO's even though they've got 5 (4) doors - well - they only made them in 4 door.
A Fiesta was made in 3 door and 5 door configuration. Everyone knows taht they didn't make any of the sporty models in 5 door configuration, closest they got was the 1.6 Si, so generally it puts people off. I personally think that 5 doors add too much panel gap and there's no way of getting around the fact that the car was originally designed to pick the kiddy-winks up from school easily without having to flip the front seats forward to let them in
Doesn't mean that 5 doors don't look good - it's just alot of the reason why people say 'why bother with a 5 door' because it adds alot more work to the project to make it look nicer
Cheers,
Andy

I know, thats my point, 5 door cars are cr@p but evo's are mint according to chive's.
I like 5 door fiesta's, nice to see em modded, makes a change, was quite impressed with this 1...

I dont give a fook who Brad is, but those wheels are nice!
Those that can, do; and those that can't, talk about it.
