I couldn't get mine down the ECU hole so the way I did it was from the battery, across the back of the engine bay and down through the big rubber grommet in the back-left corner of the engine bay under the scuttle pannel, since it's rubber just pierce it, push the cable through and it'll return to shape sealing it.
After that unclip the kicker trim pannels one by one and feed the cable underneath it out of sight, hardest part is the seatbelt pillar area, once you've gone all the way down that, go under the back bench and into the boot, assuming you're putting the amp there anyway

If I remember, I'll take a photo in the morning of how I have done it.
I wired up my amp last week (came with no instructions!).
Runs from the battery, through the large rubber boot where the ECU cables run down (I pierced a little hole on the underside), down past the ECU, and along behind the plastic trim.

Do not underestimate the power of a 1.3 - It's low enough already

Scuttle Pannel - the bit under the windscreen with all the slots in and where the wiper arms end.
Clips: in the kicker pannels you'll see a few round "buttons" in them, you'll need a very small flat screwdriver to carefully prise them out.
Rubber grommet is where all your wires from inside connect to the engine, ie lights. If you look down behind the water expansion tank you'll see a big black rubber circle with chunky wires running into it
