[Sports Injection 16v]

just recently i have run into a major problem. One of my cylinders has lost compression and so so my head needs to come off, be skimmed etc and my pistons have to be replaced. I have a 1.6 si on an N plate and was wondering how much it would cost for forged pistons and if there are any other mods i can do while this is going on. Any ideas anyone? your advice would be much appreciated

You're better off chucking the 1.6 in the bin and getting a 2.0 Zetec

130hp straight off. Costs about £300 for the engine.

Forged pistons are only really needed in very high compression applications.
