petrol tank differences

is my 1.1hcs tank different to an xr2i 8v 1 as im putting in a xr engine and dont no wheather i have to change the tank or not. id rather not do it if possible

If you have an injection engine, then you can keep the tank.

Otherwise, no - you need a new tank.

it will run, but i personally would go for 2i or rst pump,
depends on the condition of ur pump too.

i would imagine the 2i runs a higher pressure than the spi system so the spi pump may not be up to the job

Think FezzR's right on this one - I'm fairly sure the pumps are different internally.

For the sake of completeness, use the complete pump and sender unit from an EFi Fiesta.

as for tank all the same, unless u wanna look at summink like mk4/5
donno if theres any diff. mk5 is prob plastic not really worth hassle IMO

if u dont have a pump i think moondust has a tank and pump up for sale, IIRC the pump is not very old

EFI should hold 3 times the amount of fuel pressure at idle than that of CFI, so i should imagine running it on CFI pump would loose quite a bit of power and run lean
