Nissan Micra Stereo Fitting
Hi, i was wondering, because a mate of mine has a R reg nissan micra and wants an aftermarket stereo ( Blanpunkt ). He wants me to fit it, i've had a look at the wires and there different to the aftermarket wires ( obvious). But he doesnt have the manual so i dont know what wire is what as i dont want to connect the wrong ones.
Does anybody know or know of anyone who knows how to do it.
I only want to know what the nissan wires are as there not named or coloured so i cant put them in the Blanpunkt block its a bit confusing.
Cheers in advance, John

Bump.
Can anyone help this chap? Was posted in Non-Car-Related items for sale, so I've moved it in here now.

My name is Alex. I used to have a Capri. I don't anymore. But I'm still called Capri.

F1XTA :You will have to have the ariel plugged in as well because i think it is earthed through the ariel too.
When fitting my mums it didnt work until the ariel was plugged in.
Thats not right. Something is really up there.
As for the micra
You'll need an autoleads pc2-76-4 (from memory, might be wrong) at £13.49 from Halfords This will plug into the Nissan wiring and leave you with a standard ISO plug that will allow you to just plug your head unit in.
