First Impressions - It's Safari with a different skin (or chrome - hence the name). It even identifies itself as Safari.

TBH on my PC and connection, I don't notice any difference in speed between Chrome/Safari, Opera and Firefox.

I noticed that.

OK, speed depends on connection type but first of all I like memory handling. Putting each tab in separate process is pretty stable solution.

I have had a very quick look at it and it seems ok, but I don't like the way you can't (apparently) manually assign websites to the speed dial rip off thing.

Also, no mouse guestures? Once you've used them you won't ever go back. Does it sync up so you can have your faves on every PC you use like opera does, does anyone know?

I don't think it seems as good as opera so far, but then I like anything that isn't firefox or IE :D

Just got used to using firefox after always using IE, so don't expect I will change anytime soon. I did try it was this morning, but it wont connect to our proxy so removed it. Fair play to them for bringing something out, its about time MS had some competition and Mozilla has shown they can make a make a dent in IE's user base.

Using it atm, Normally use FF. Does seem to make a bit more use of my slow 1.5mb connection!

But the scrolling is really 'jagged' and not smooth like in FF! Annoying..

Chrome and Safari are both built with webkit tools, hence the similarity of rendering. I use opera and FF, opera in the main but some sites wont render properly on it. As soon as there's a scripting interface and api for opera I'll ditch FF - it's a bloaty bugger but works nicely, just wish it was faster.

Opera keeps losing it's icon on Vista 64... really bizzare and irritating.
