Are any of these still available? I don't mind signing up on FSi to post on theirs but I'd love a set of 4 (2 with spacers 2 without).

Many thanks,
Si

Last time I spoke to dave, he only had 3 left (1 with spacer and 2 without) which I brought of him. I'm in the process of getting them copied by a fabrication company local, unless dave can get some more made. If I can get a load made, I'll let you know.

Awesome, well mine are fine for now so no rush, just wanted a good excuse to get the beam off again to powder coat it.

If you can PM me or reply here as soon as you have any news would be great ;)

Thanks,
Simon

if no one else is making them anymore, and there is enough demand for them, i can start making some, but i would need to price up metal to see what the cost would be, and if it would be worth doing

No more left now guys im afraid

Jay - Its probably not worth it atm, when my mate got a load made up, it took him ages to sell them on, even listing them as a "buy it now" on ebay

They already are NLA at ford

The mk5/6 escort ones are still available from ford, and they are identical to the ones on the mk3 without the spacers, but the two at the back with the spacers that go onto the shocker bolt are NLA

ah right, i know the ones with the spacers were a bit iffy to get hold of a while back but didnt know they were NLA.

if the escort ones are the same, they should have the same part number??

i think if i were to make any i would have to make a jig for ease of making them, might even just make a jig for my self if they are NLA as i only got 1 full set of new spare brackets

ah well, will see how it goes :bonkers:

I have two full sets of genuine ones, cleared out my local dealers when I found out they were NLA

Another way of doing it is to get four escort ones from ford, then drill out the hole on two of them so the shocker bolt fits through, and use washers to replicate the spacer :)

Dont think I have any pics, but have held them next to each other before now and they are identical other than the diameter of the hole, and the spacer being welded on

recently replaced one of mine, ordered it from tom peters

as the spacered one has snapped, the piece f the bracket that the bolt goes through was still bolted there, so i used that as the spacer on the new one ;)

but they obviously had to be drilled out

I have done that in the past. The square spacer can be tapped off with a hammer.

I think the non spacer ones are still available, aren't they?

Read the thread when you have a minute mate, there is a way round it by buying genuine escort mk5/6 items (still available) then drilling out two of them and spacing them out with washers :)

currently in the process of making these clamps myself. looks like im the only one daily driving a mk3 fiesta these days.
just got the hole left to drill in the clamp. used 3mm 304L stainless steel 25mm wide with length of 200mm. thats enough to make 1 clamp and its washer.
