New guy saying hello

Postby FiestaPilky on Sun Nov 09, 2014 11:38 pm

Hi All,

New member, so bear with me, I am currently on my 7th Ford (well one was a Mazda in disguise, but hey ho) since 2008.

Started out with a fake Ford Fiesta MK4 (Mazda 121 1.3 GXE);

I know the bumper doesn't suite it and the registration plate was horrendous, I put this down too being young and thinking it was "wicked sick"....really it sucked, but that was my first.

Secondly I had what started life as a MK5 1.3 Fiesta Finesse, this was swiftly changed into a RS2000 Powered MK5 with a few other mods such as chive tacular lights, MK3 Recaro Seats, Mondeo Si wheels, boot build, Mondeo Estate spoiler and a few other bits and bats that really wont impress

This was then replaced with my Second MK5, this time being a Zetec S, this was swiftly converted too the Puma Lump and was treated too a few other nice things, nothing major or drastic as the RS2000 last one but it was ok (mine being the Silver One in the middle);

Again this was swiftly replaced with my venture into the newer ST scene, where I purchased a MK2 Ford Focus ST3 in panther black, however I missed the Fiesta scene and also treated myself too a lovely 1.3 Fiesta MK4 from a car auction (tax and tested for £100) :) ;

However due too a constantly whinging ex-mrs both were swiftly moved on again and it was back too the MK5, this time too be accompanied by firstly a Escort 75D Van and then very recently with a Transit Connect 95 1.6 HDI.

The fiesta obviously being the focus of my attention with the van just for work, the fiesta currently has;
1.6 Blacktop Zetec Engine
4-2-1 Miltek Decat Manifold
Jansport Stainless Cat Back
K&N K75i Induction Kit
AP Coilovers
a choice between Escort Cosworth Alloys & Kawasaki Pearl Green Ph2 Zetec S alloys
Magnecore HT Leads
Quantum Remap
Omex Revlimiter with launch control
Sony XAV602BT Double Dinn Headunit with Sat Nav and reversing Camera
Full Hertz audio install
Front Lower Splitter
OMP Strut Braces
Powerflex Bushes
Mondeo ST24 front breaks
and loads of other little toys

Planned for the future is the fitting of already purchased RS/XR side arches & bonnet vents, fitment of Mondeo Estate spoiler and full respray, this is too be accompanied by a 1.8 Zetec Turbo engine that I have currently got in a million pieces on my garage floor, its a slow process but will hopefully be worth it.

In addition too these, I have also owned a few just too break (a couple of MK5's and one more MK4,) but they was only broken as they were massively past the point where they were salvageable

I have been checking out the forum for a while and have got loads of useful knowledge and information from you guys, especially regarding Zetec Turbo builds, so I thought it was time I said hello,

thanks for reading
Wanted a MK3 but ended up with 5 MK5's and a random Focus ST...that's life
