Bloody hell, see what you mean about the bonnet! That's facking awful!
"potential" is the word, I'm sure you can make a nice car out of it
I don't suppose you'll be re-shelling it as it seems to me you want a fresh start. Good luck with it, and get that bonnet replaced

WTF!
Are you lot all crazy - I think it should be made illegal to scrap any FRST shell, there are far too few of them nowadays!
Good luck with the restoration mate - hopefully it'll look better than your old one!
Cheers,
Andy

Im not going to reshell it as there is nothing wrong with the old one, my XR2i is just a minter and make the RS look crap.
Its gonna have a full respray, new bonnet and mk5 rear end including zs rear bumper, still undecided about the front for the time being, but its gonna have a nice GRS sat behind what ever bumper i do go for. I gettign rid of the Oz wheels as they are well old now.
Goin for Masitaly GTS
More than likely I will be getting a 12 bore fromt bumper and it will look something like Richards sweet example.

gypsey14 :how mcuh was it please?????
Cost £1900, but its only on 55k and has a brand new engine built by Interpro in Bristol that hasnt even been run in yet.
The front bumper is missing in the pic as I was measuring up for the new GRS intercooler etc....

I like the 12 bore when it suits the rest of the car. The only criticism I have of Richard's car is that there seems to be a lot of valance showing through the mesh. Perhaps some finer mesh would correct that...his wheels are sex tho

I think the thing which Richard's is that because so much has been removed, it doesn't have this big strong scary character the 12 bore usually has. It's a pretty muscular kind of bumper, but stripped down it loses some of its punch. GRS would liven things up tho

If its gonna be mercury grey I think you should....
17 in compomotive mo in anthracite or black.
Smoothed frst bumpers front and rear.
Loose the mondy spoiler and add a vr6 chin spoiler and slam it.
Loose the interior and add 2 black bucket style seats and add an alcantara covered steering wheel and possibly a stack dash!
Would look ultra aggressive!
