New forum stuff! RSS feeds, graphics etc
Been tweaking again.
You might notice that the URLs for each forum and topic now contain keywords - this is better for search engine ranking.
Also there are now RSS feeds:
If you're using a decent browser (Firefox, Safari, anything other than IE6 really!) then you'll see the RSS icon.
There are three types of feed:
1. All topics, clicking the browser RSS icon on the forum index page will load that one.
2. Specific forums - clicking the same icon but inside a forum will do that one.
3. Specific topics - same icon but when looking at a topic page.

I've tweaked the graphics around a bit and altered the styling a little too.
If you see a missmatch of old and new icons & buttons (they should all change) then hit CTRL+F5 a couple of times or clear your browser cache.
If you spot an old style one lurking, let me know and I'll fix it.
Yes I know it looks a bit "Vista" ish!

Any news on an ignore list function?
Looks good though, FT dragged kicking and screaming into 2006
I'd get vista but I have no spare boxes to throw away to it lol, and god forbid I'm lusting after a ... mac.

Two problems to report sir!
The buttons in the "Post a Reply" box are still green.
The "Topic Review" box when you reply is still showing the old theme.
I've tried Ctrl-F5 but no change.
And yes Stoned, IE7 supports the RSS feeds, I tried it earlier.

Very well spotted! I doubt I'd have noticed that until a week or so of no new users posting...
'tis fixed now. Cheers!

Posted this in another topic, but I when I searched by username just now, it died... Don't know if this is related to the fiddling that's been going on?

I know what you mean there mate. I love the new look, but I wonder, Ade, whether it'd be possible to replace one of the alternating grey shades on the View Topic pages with the minty green you had before? Keep the rest all new and swish - just change the colours a little?
My name is Alex. I used to have a Capri. I don't anymore. But I'm still called Capri.

I only noticed because I changed my email address and it wouldn't work to reactivate.

The logo at the top is a different filename (it's a .png and not a .gif anymore) much smoother compression for the gradient. That's why it appeared but nothing else did.
