How easy is it to take out cam from cylinder head as i am puttin in a racing cam and can it be done whilst the head is still on ?wahts involved and any advice

cvh??easy enough, new belt, get a vernier, oil+filter, run the cam in as per guide, ie 30 mins at 2500+rpm, use 20w50 mineral oil for 400-500 miles then change to wotever u normally do with another new filter, get it set up on rollers.. presume your usin a cam kit so you`ll have new stem seals to fit+new lock nuts, use ford r.c gasket pattern ones are crap as they don`t have the metal inserts.
