the blue hose is only a temp hose. i had to buy a few and it was trial error to get it to fit. but now i have the correct size ill order a bogey green 1
this will be cleared out.
6 months of storage and a tiny garage means my boots full i cr@p
almost ready for summer. i have to sort out a slight oil leak from the sump plug and then its (hopefully) MOT time
phoned up grove garage today about a final tweek and they can do it while i wait so thats alot easier then having to drop the car off

why have you blocked the hose that goes from thermostat housing to header tank out of interest?
MotorcyclesFish :The thing is if I caught Brian fudgekin a bloke, I wouldn't think 'oh Brian's a gay', I'd think 'Brian that fudgekin weird haired mongoloid is raping a gay to see if anyone finds it funny'![]()

Only thing i dont like is the lack of a spoiler on the rear, you got any plans for that?

Looking good as usual, specially when you consider the thickness of the dust on the roof! It'll look even better when you've washed and polished it
Liking the snugness of the intercooler and radiator, and the harnesses. Man, the front of a Mk3 with dark interior, Recaros and a couple of gauges is a place I really enjoy being

Re: My zetec turbo * Summer Shows/Broken Gearbox*
Then on the night before i was due to go bruntingthorpe for a timing session and feature with performance ford magazine, i picked up the car from where i keep it and i was giving it some stick up a hill and heard a squeling sound and then a clunk and lots of griding and i kissed good bye to my gearbox and mag feature. DOH!, luckily i was going on holiday the next day so it wasnt all bad news
Two months later and ive finally been back to sort it out. i did lose alot of interest to be honest but now im getting withdrawl symptons and i cant wait to get it back on the road.
ill make no secret it of the fact that my front bumper was a mess, the cut out i made was no good for 2 reaons, the 1st being it fitted my old smaller GRS cooler really well as it was tucked up in the front of the bumper but when i changed the cooler to the GRS evo 3 item the cooler sat further back so left a big hole which looked s**t, 2nd reason was cos i had no decent tools with me as the car wasnt kept at my house and i only had an angle grinder, oh and i rushed it
now that the car was off the road for winter i thought perfect excuse to sort out a new bumper. i always thought i would have to buy a standard 2nd hand bumper and redo the cut out myself and then smooth the swage line again, so imagen i was chuffed to bits when Dannyboy was selling his front bumper from his zetec turbo project, already smoothed, already cut out and already painted red ( ill respray it anyway just for colour)
RESULT
with the old cooler

My s**t cut out with the new cooler

Been thinking about painting my comps antharcite/ gun metal grey?? what do ppl think?? or should i just leave them white

Loving this car man.
I think your wheels would awesome in gunmetal grey. However they also looko awesome in white so its hard to say what would look better
I suppose now you have to weigh up the price of a properly good box and how long a not so good box will last as you will undoubtably end up replacing it again soon.
I'v only seen one person attempt the MTX75 conversion and it wouldn't really appeal to me either as it just involves a stupid amount of work like cutting up chassis legs ect.
Look forward to seing your new box go in

mike, theres a stage 2+ box for sale on passionford, well worh the money, its 1k but undoubtably cheaper than a new 2+ and it really shouldnt break!
had no problems with my stage 2.
makes such a difference to pulling you round corners, eliminating wheelspin and torquesteer!
