Postby L98 LET on Sat Feb 22, 2014 6:04 pm

Hi Guys, Im Lewis, 17 from Chesterfield, and im a very recent member of the fiesta crew, currently studying Auto Engineering.

if anyone is from Passionford then they may know me ( Cossie Lewis, Mk4 Lew )

Less about me, more about the car.

On Wednesday I said Goodbye to My Escort, and Hello to my Fiesta, A genuine 51k mile, Radiant Red, 1.1 L 3 Door, which bar wheel caps and spotlamps, is completely standard!

Car was registered in Sheffield/Rotherham area, and sold by Charlsworths Ford of Doncaster, where it spent its life in Sheffield untill this week.

Ill be quiet and show you some pictures. :)

Rust is lighter than carbon fibre, and rust holes are lighter than rust!!

One patch is needed on drivers floor, few bubbles round fuel cap and few little bits, but thell get sorted :)

Today me and my dad have put a headunit in, as there was no radio in there. just doing little bits at a time :)

Right, last weekend I went out and about collecting parts, I ended up in Bakewell on Saturday to pick up some wheels, which are Mk6 RS2000 alloys, th very ones that was on my Escort.

And on Sunday, I ended up in Sutton in Ashfield, Picking up a XR2i bumper and 3.5 mirrors.

That weekend cost me ( well my dad ) £20!

Monday came and my friend came to mine to drop off one alloy wheel nuts, So on went the RS wheels.

Then I was bored and replaced my mirrors for the 3.5 ones.

Then out came the from seats and store for welding and to let the sound deadning dry out.

Car will be welded in a week or so, then on toner eating other bits of rust.

No photos as of yet, as I've not got my phone back, but I'll post some as soon as possible!

Cheers guys, Lewis.

2i bumper was free it was the wheels that cost £20

Wheels are mk6 RS2000 alloys.

So far we have stripped it out for welding, and tacked a plate in ready for the rest of the welding tomorrow.

I also sold a few parts today and aswell as money, a arch kit with all four jacking point covers and a XR2i spoiler was part of the deal, so all I need Is a rear bumper now.
