My new FRST
This is the car now before i take it for a full respray in a couple of months.
The wheels have got to go! i want mk6 Escort RS2k ones
The best seats Ford have ever made imo.
This is the start of some repairs and mods i got to sort. The dash has seven holes in it from past alarm systems so i thought i take the opertunity to swap it over for a black one with matching trims. So cheers to Neil for the parts
I'm luvin it :drivin: proper little toy

Cheers thanks a lot![]()
It's a Spanish import one if that matters.
Spanish import?
It's rhd though - the VIN plate on my FRST is Valencia too, the FRST were made both in Spain and Germany, unless you have documentation to show it was imported from out of there?
The number plate looks very similar too - I wonder if that's from the Ipswich area originally (BEG and DEG plates).
Nice car though - what have you got planned for it?
Cheers,
Andy

Ok did'nt know that i thought all RS's were WFO chassis numbers so i guess it's not a import then
My plans are to fit the later mirros and get some 15" RS2k mk6 wheels as i hate the Fox alloys that the car has on it. Also a 60mm drop instead of the 35mm it has now.

My Turbo's definitely an original and was made in Spain, I know of other Spanish FRSTs as well as a few German ones (I think they're rarer).
It was always said the German ones had better rust protection but I think that may just be urban myth.
Keep us updated with your mods and history finding
Cheers,
Andy
