My Fiesta RS Turbo

Hi all im starting to rebuild my fiesta slowly any time now so ill start to post my pics (this could be a long one) !! Here is how she looks now i have changed quite alot since buying it back in 2003 unfortunatley i didnt take photos of everything so will do this time

The head with a Kent CVH34 fitted

The block with new big ends, mains, oil pump, rings and i had the pistons skimmed to match the skim on the head for correct compression

becareful of skimmed pistons though.

I Know what the problem was though the fuel pomp lost pressure and it ran lean ive got a escort cossie pump ready for fitment now

just out of intrest whats the problem with skimed pistons,
very tidy fiesta m8 :D

it makes the tops of the pistons thinner so less heat resistant causing them to melt down. like mine did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im in the bristol RSOC so im at their meetings every month
The door handles are actually going back to black and im putting the green stripe back on the sides
Im going for the vurtually original look on the outside apart from it being lowered and the bootlid has had the wiper and contour line at the bottom removed.
The single wiper conversion is also coming off so that will be for sale very soon.

This is a s**t picture of how it looked when i first bought it.

Front skirt
smooth bootlid
number plate was properly fibreglassed into bumper
Clear lghts etc etc.

I knew the car before. My mate had it for 7 years although i didnt like all the mods cause its just not me the car is as clean as a whistle with just 70k on the clock

would love to have seen an original FRST with those alloys :P
