well utterly exhausted  had sooooooooooooooooo much hassle today had to take this and that off twenty times, fixed some problems, made others :( .....

been on the car from 10am till 8.30 with no food, no dnt feel like anything just feel sick :( .....

BUT ITS ALIVE!!!

yes she runs! and goes like f**k altho there are teething probs 3 big ones really 1-i broke the temp sensor on the head :x 2- the exhaust is knocking underneath (really annoying) 3- a am unware of the boost :oooh: my guage dnt seem to be working right so i DEFO need to get that sorted asap!

but its dark now A+H were total hero's to me dunno what i'd do without them they really pushed the boat out!

apart from the 3 big probs theres now the residing issue of my tidying up things touch up the paint i knocked  .... and so on but all seems well (for now) so will keep updated on it :) ... pics will follow tomorrow as i literely did not have time i worked non stop!

peace out shattered and filthy Ad xx

well been out again in it and not too sure think its peaking at about 14psi :-? ... but there is some smoke still around i haven't done major miles in it tho so i'm not too sure if there is oil stil in the system as the old turbo threw quite a bit in! then theres also the fact that i have had the exhaust cut and welded using 3 exhausts  that were a touch oily so maybe it needs a run to remove all the rubbish from in it!? :( ...

but as my bad luck tends to run i am still a touch worried checked all the pipes etc and seems fine...

re attached the d/v :oooh: as basically the chatter sounds weird on this turbo so gonna let it dump :P

managed to get a dark pic bit crap but here you go!!

Have they made you a proper box for the air filter over there?! :D I see a flange, but the pic doesn't go that far over lol

Get the problems sorted before you blow it up! :oooh:
How come you have problems even though you've just got it back? Why didn't they sort them? :-?

A+H weren't doing the conversion there not a turbo/mech company they helped when i went over to do it and stored it for me :) .....

the problems were half my fault i broke the sensor and i'll get a new one tomorrow, the boost could be fine may just need the sender fitting else where(altho due to the oil pump i have not rev'd it too hard to find the exact psi), the oil pump seems to be slightly playing up so my mate is going to leave me with his GTI-R again  he's going to be replaced tomorrow and fix the knocking!

so basically the probs will be sorted this weekend along with me getting the cossie back :bonkers: so busy hey  :)

and james the flange is for the air filter theres no box altho it would be cool space is very difficult!its positioned the air filter just there so if i remove the headlight 'fresh air' :)

ok car is back now running sweet as a nut, real good quick as hell!

sounding a bit diesel'y atm as the lifters need adjusting must have moved since the head fitment, which i was expecting tbh...

so tues the cossie is off the A+H for some work and meantime the fiesta will also be going down there too fix the lifters, and start to tidy her up ready for the rollers and the shows...

Al is kindly coming this weekend to fix my wiring  :) so should be all good by next week will prob put the car in storage till the rollers then i will again store it till the shows :)

ho hum, been out in the car all day had some fun in it, makes me sad the fact i gotta sell it, its rapid as hell and handles out this world now tested it alot today on the private track i could take bends 80-90 and it still gripped like hell, gotta say what a package this car is :)....

these cars are great fun, the power is immense i can accelerate and the car is fighting to try and stay in a straight line while the diff is doing its job and everything else fighting to put the power down, real fun car :Q .

hoping to go to the rollers maybe next week if not the week after! get the rolling road figure possibly up the boost slightly give it a tweek, then bring it back home finally to have some TLC before FITP then its up for sale fully :( some pics :-

i have used it alot :) just dnt tend to comment on it much... but the way it powers now is shocking the car sort of snakes on hard acceleration :o only due probably to the torque. how people use 300-400bhp in FWD in beyond me :o ....

thinking of doing a RWYB soon too if i can :)

stick with the mk3 dash and stuff its alot easier and very hard to get right not worth the hassle tbh i wouldnt do it again... As for the spoiler it took alot of doing but its just the mondy spoiler on the tailgate i'd just stick to a RS one or something :) ....

the car still lives on with a different owner i sold it a yr or 2 ago

never know might buy it back in future :) ...
