apparently my mechanic has fitted the new map sensor and the car is running ALOT better!!!!!!!

Mind if I take a bow? To be fair, whilst I take my bow I'm going to slap you. I told you it'd be the MAP sensor back in February/March! Bloody glad to hear that has resolved the problem from the sounds of things, let us know how setting it up goes

well its no longer chucking fuel out of the exhaust anyway

so yer hopefully if we can get the car sorted sunday will get it up to the bodyshop as the front bumper needs adjusting for the arch's better get ready to pay the insurance

going over tomorrow get some other bits done also get the fuel emissions down and ready for MOT, gotta fit my new ally header tank too, so hopefully i will get to drive the car tomorrow!!! first time in over 3 years!!!! vid will be up need to get the car to the bodyshop too to get the front bumper and stuff on then it can go for the MOT hopefully it will have MOT this week i shall insure it too and tax it then i need to book the rolling road setup .

seperate tho cossie is going in for a fuel tank change tomorrow too

ok guys and gals looking real good now!!!!!!!! i went over sunday got the rest of my stuff all primed so jamie just has to finish my front bumper for the arch match then paint the lot and fit them!!!! then the car is ready for MOT bar the couple of small bits i need which have been stressed in the general forum SORRY

but today i got alot of bits done and sorted washer bottle in there battery finally fastened in all parts tightened up! runs like a dream, sounds lush but gearbox is FOOKED so i need to replace it with my diesel one for now which is a shame as the ratio's are not as good and no diff but will do for now...

forgot to add the car is running about 12psi there altho i didn't rev it much, and don't know how fast we went as the speedo was playing up . yet the coolers seem to work v well as it stays so cool

what you did see and couldn't hear was 2 mins b4 we went down a pot hole and the pipe came off the map sensor

but i did very slightly catch the wheel down a hole too so we are raising the one corner slightly..

but also i hadn't totally secured the battery and the fuel box so everything was bloody rattling was doing my head in but all done now ...
